Head of Data Science
Responsibilities:
- Organize the entire team: Manage people, Manage internal OKRs, Plan the team, Manage internal processes
- Track the trends in Data Science and AI fields to ensure that clients solution is more and more versatile and robust
- Make sure that the Data Science team works on deliverables as listed in the Scope section above
- Manage external stakeholders, including other Teams within the Technology, CTO, and Customers for which customers are deployed
- Work together with PPE Team and Engineering Team to establish proper system ownership and segregation of duties between teams
- As a Delivery Owner, work closely with a Project Manager and delegated Data Science team (supported by Engineering Team if needed) to ensure a successful design and deployment of our solution for the enterprise customers which require custom data design
Qualifications:
- Experience building and leading a data science team - this person will manage the data science team
- Successful commercial implementation of ML-based solution as an either Principal Data Scientist, Data Science Lead, or a Head of Data Scientist
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product Owners and business heads
- Capable of presenting our solution to senior stakeholders/enterprise customers
- Deep understanding of fundamentals of probability and statistics
- Understanding the trends in Data Science and Machine Learning
- Big picture thinking
- Since the client work in all timezones, this person must be flexible to adjust his/her working hours sometimes
- Full ownership of the entire AI and ML capabilities of the product
